Samir Hajiyev is the Managing Partner of Allied Legal Partners LLC (ALP), a law firm providing comprehensive legal support in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. Samir specializes in corporate law, M&A, finance and securities. Samir’s clients represent a variety of industries, including the financial market, energy and natural resources, telecommunications, transportation, FMCG, hospitality, etc.

After graduating Law School, Samir completed a course at the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK, and was awarded a LL.M. degree in International Law from the Baku State University. Samir held key management positions in various insurance companies in the Republic of Azerbaijan, where he provided legal support and advised on business development. Samir was appointed as a legal advisor and actively participated in drafting the Azerbaijani Law “On insurance activities.” Later, Samir headed offices of such law firms as MWP and Grata, as well as the PwC legal practice in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In February 2019, Samir joined ALP as the Managing Partner.
